• Emergency Physician (Labor Pool)
• ED US Faculty (.25 FTE protected) / ED Attending (.75 FTE)
  • 3-year ACGME accredited program with 8 residents in each academic year
  • EM residency leadership team consists of 8 core faculty in addition to the program director
  • EM residency is a part of a growing GME department that currently includes FM, TY, IM, OB and Pharmacy residencies
  • State-of-the-art SIM lab led by an Emergency Medicine physician dedicated to SIM
  • Work closely with the Clinical Ultrasound Fellowship Director to provide training and ensure competency of the Clinical Ultrasound Fellows as they will assist with the training of EM residents and medical students
  • Serve as a GME ultrasound liaison to the ED Director and Ultrasound Systems Director (EM-trained physicians)
• Very competitive hourly rate w/night differential

• 500-bed, Level II tertiary care center
• 90 hours provider coverage per day
• 9-hour shifts available

• Certified stroke, trauma & cardiac center

RIVERSIDE DOCTORS’ HOSPITAL (Williamsburg)

• Emergency Physician (full-time)
• 25k+ visits/year
• 70-million-dollar, state-of-the-art, 40-bed hospital
• Must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine

RIVERSIDE SMITHFIELD HOSPITAL (Smithfield)

• ED Director (.25 FTE protected) / ED Attending (.75 FTE)
• Emergency Physician (Full-time)
• Brand new Riverside Smithfield Hospital (opening early 2026)
• 50-bed facility
• Approximately 12,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Emergency Department
• 14 treatment rooms, a trauma room and additional treatment spaces
• DNV-accredited
• Very competitive hourly rate w/night differential
• Must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine
• Unable to sponsor J1 visa providers

RIVERSIDE SHORE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL (Onancock/Eastern Shore)

• Emergency Physician (Full-time)
• 25k+ visits/year
• 12 bed Emergency Department
• 34 Inpatient beds and 6 ICU beds
• Telemedicine
• Comprehensive sub-specialty support
• EPIC EMR
• Must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine
• This rural location may support J1 visas

MD EXPRESS (Hampton Roads)

• Urgent Care Physician
• 12-hour shifts (9am-9pm)
• Open 7 days a week
• Rotate through 5 area locations (Williamsburg, Yorktown, Newport News, Hampton, and Gloucester.)
• EPIC EMR
• Subspecialty, scribe & APP support
• Must be BC/BE in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Unable to sponsor J1 visa providers
