Mercyhealth System in Janesville, Wisconsin is currently seeking a board certified/board eligible Family Medicine Faculty Physicians to join our excellent team of collaborating Physicians throughout the Wisconsin and Illinois Region!Mercyhealth System is a multi-state, integrated health system comprising of 7 hospitals, including a state-of-the-art ACS designated Level I Adult Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center. With more than 600 employed physicians and 200 advanced practice providers, we service over 80 outpatient clinics and other service sites that provide care to residents in more than 55 communities throughout Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. We provide over 125 specialty and sub-specialty services, including adult critical care, neonatal intensive care, neurosurgery, heart and vascular care together with WATCHMAN and TAVR, cancer institute, plastic and reconstructive surgery, robotic surgery, orthopedic surgery, and much more!
Opportunity:
- Teach family medicine residents half time and build your individual practice as an employed physician the other half.
- Focus on teaching and patient are with the support of operational leaders and support staff.
- Back up call only.
- HPSA- National Interest Waiver and H1b supported
- 4-4.5 days per week, flexible scheduling

Qualifications:
- MD/DO board certified/board eligible
- Residency training from an ACGME-accredited family medicine program
- A passion to teach residents and medical students in didactic/clinic setting.
- The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team
- Skilled at providing exceptional care for all ages
- Previous faculty experience in an accredited residency or fellowship program is desired, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Compensation & Benefits:
Mercyhealth offers a highly competitive initial salary guarantee leading to a production-based model after the first year, along with an outstanding benefits package:
